Loving

This spring we were new parents, we were newly fully vaccinated, and we started venturing out to dine on some patios. The baby item that got us through those adventures was our Baby K’tan wrap. It was a lifesaver for those quick adventures or where dealing with a stroller just wouldn’t be convenient. Some baby wraps have quite a bit of a learning curve but this one is so quick and easy to put on, I can take it on and off without much hassle. Its the wrap I found myself reaching for the most.

Learning

When life is busy sometimes you need easy to read newsletters delivered to your inbox. I have 4 emails delivered either weekly or daily that I have been really loving and they all teach me something different.

1. The Good Trade- It’s a feel good sort of newsletter, a little bit of everything. Always has a good quote to start it off. I like to read this first in morning.

2. Anti-Racism Daily- This newsletter is challenges my thinking daily, it touches on so many different aspects of racism and I am constantly learning from it.

3. News- I chose The New York Times- It was the one I found that had the most readable newsletter format. Its a good way for me to see news headlines then I can research the headlines more if I need to.

4. What To Cook- This one comes weekly and has taught me how to quickly and efficiently cook meals. Every week is a new recipe- with substitutes, cooking tips etc. For instance I now use the broil feature on my oven so much more often.

Living In

This Breathe On jumpsuit from Old Navy has been my go to outfit since baby was born. It checks all the boxes: comfy, 1 piece, and breastfeeding friendly. I have it in 2 colors, and the short version- I am committed. On colder days I just throw on a jean jacket with it. It’s probably embarrassing how much I wear it, but if you are looking for a comfy yet still sort of put together outfit I cannot recommend it enough!
